Helpful Clinical Books
The ECG Made Easy (Hampton)
This is an excellent way to learn how to read an ECG.
100 ECG Problems (Hampton)
This goes with the first one listed and basically it's a bunch of abnormal ECG's with explanations, diagnoses, and helpful hints.
Current Medical Diagnosis and Treatment
(Tierney, McPhee, and Papadakis)
A huge book, not many pictures but it has everything you need to understand without any extra crap to sift through.
BNF (British Medical Association and Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain)
Excellent! Don't pay money for this because you can pick one up in the pharmacy Dept. for free.  (British National Formulary)
Lecture Notes on Clinical Medicine
(Rubenstein, Wayne, and Bradley)
I got this book because it's very clinically oriented. It tells you exactly what signs, symptoms, and investigations you need in order to make a diagnosis from a list of related diseases.  It's a thinner book so it tells you what you need to know and nothing else. A good USMLE step 2 book in my opinion.
First Aid for the USMLE Step 2
(Le, Amin, Bhushan, and Choo)

This is really for step 2 preparation but I find it helpful in identifying major diseases to concentrate on.
Scott's List for General Medicine:
Chris's List For  General Medicine:
Clinical Medicine (Kumar and Clark)
This is a good but large general medical book.  It has good pictures and charts and color that makes it interesting to read.  It has long chapters so it might be overkill for a first medical  rotation.  A good reference.
